In your pain there is victory. If you are going through a rough time, and it’s very painful, you are guaranteed victory. We all are running races in our lives…make sure you keep focused on God the one that blesses and watches over you. When you use your gift for him, you end up rocking the world, because he takes that deep longing desire in your heart and brings it to life.
Why do we Venture off the Path?
Venturing off the path is doing what you know is not right, it’s sinful, or causes you to sin.
We venture off, because it provides us with instant satisfaction. It’s a release to a stressful day or week, or can be to a relationship filled with fighting, traffic in rush hour or even an offense that someone did to us. Often we rationalize sinning by justifying it in our heads that we deserve it, because of our circumstances, and that we been through allot so we are entitled to go off the path every once in a while.
Or we rationalize that it was out of our control, so therefore it is okay to venture off the path. It’s all our choice, either we decide to sin or we don’t.
Stop blaming your circumstances, your environment, or other people’s mistakes to justify your to sin.
Staying on the Path
You see signs that tell you to stay on the path, but like most we venture off the path. Have you ever taken a step off the path, but then jump back on the path? Then the next time you take two steps off the path, and then jump back on.
You might be thinking everything is okay, as long as you jump back on the path. However, what you don’t realize that every time you jump off the path, it becomes easier and easier to sin. Before you know it you are 10 steps off the path and you don’t know how to get back.
That’s how we get into trouble by not staying on the path to what God has put in our hearts to do.
There is Victory
God takes our deepest desires in our hearts and meshes it with his desires, and brings it to life for you.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, (Ecclesiastes3:11)
There is something that you are longing for in your life. It’s that feeling of wanting more. It’s the race for eternity, which is the pursuit of knowing God when Sin wreaks our lives.
When you pursuit God, God becomes what you want, and he helps you stay on the path. He takes all your desires, and your pursuit for eternity and his desires and meshes it to be his.
