Why You Have to Give Up What You Do Best

Why You Have to Give Up What You Do Best

In order to get to the next level, you have to break through a glass ceiling. When you break through glass, there is going to be blood shed. The blood you shed is going to be something you care deeply about. If you’re not willing to let go of something that you care about, you are not going to get what’s next for you.

If I didn’t give up working in the technology industry I would have never learned new skills needed to build a brand that is known around the world.

If I didn’t let go of being a full time athlete then I would never of started my foundation that is impacting the world on a global level.

I didn’t let go of my comforts at home, I would have never have tours around the world speaking and teaching people how to supercharge their lives with hope, purpose and expectancy.

If I didn’t let go of past relationships, I would of never have built new relationships that are more aligned to what I wanted to do.

If I didn’t let go of competing all the time, I would have never climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, and produce a film documentary that would be showcased around the world.

We all have to let go of things we love to do in order to get what it next for us. It’s the essence of change, and growing. Change is inevitable, and required.

Letting go of what you do best is never a easy decision but once you do you will see yourself go to the next level.
